The Ice House Entrepreneurship Program

The Entrepreneurial Mindset is a specific set of beliefs, knowledge and thought processes that drives entrepreneurial behavior. When one is able to think with this type of mindset, it is empowering because the results are that of being self-directed, action-oriented and being highly engaged in one’s endeavors, whether that be in an educational environment, a business or organizational setting or in a governmental arena. Such a mindset leads to one becoming highly resilient, resourceful, and solution-oriented in the face of obstacles to follow through with simple solutions that lead to opportunity.

Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur is the companion text to the Ice House Entrepreneurship Programs—experiential, problem-based learning programs designed to inspire and engage participants with the determination and perseverance of an entrepreneurial mindset. Ice House participants learn from a diverse array of real world, “unlikely” entrepreneurs who have embraced an entrepreneurial mindset.
